Friendly Match May 24

OC Lions Blue Cricket team participated in an exhibition match with Spartans Team on 24th May at Trabuco Hills HS premises, Mission Viejo. Spartans team won the coin toss and elected to bat first: they scored 156 for all out in 25 overs. In response, OC Blue Cricket team played a winning innings of 158 runs in 24.3 overs with three wickets remaining. Stellar batting performances were shown by Mahen 60 with a featuring partnership with Tharindu where Bandara, Hiranya, Charles and Nalaka almost equally contributed. A powerful bowling attack was shown throughout the innings.

Cherishing 8 Wickets Victory Over LV Team

OC Lions Blue Team secured a crushing victory over Las Vegas Team in the T20 encounter on May 9th, 2015 at Centennial Regional Park, Santa Ana. Las Vegas Team won the coin toss and elected to bat first.
Despite of their flying start--53 for 1 in mandatory powerplay phase--LV Team's innings was confined to 138: five wickets shared between Nalaka Gunawardhana and Danny Fernando. In response innings, OC team scored 140 for 2 with 17 balls to spare. An unbeaten partnership of 120 was built up by dazzling half centuries from Sharanga and "Shammi."
